Don’t tell God how big the storm is that you may be passing through. Instead tell the storm how big our God is. Remember that God said that He would not keep us from going through storms but that He would be there with us as we go through the storm and that we should trust that He loves us and that He is looking out for us. This is exemplified by the poem
Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.
This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.
The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Mike,
I really like the foot prints in the sand illustration given above. Many times in my life I have felt alone and as time has proven that was never the case. Thing is that I only realized that many years after the fact.
Our God is a wonderful loving person who gave his own son to die for our sins. When you think of all the heart ache it must have caused God it is beyond belief but then came his rising from the grave to overcome death; how glorious. One day we too will experience Gods glory when death is washed away by “LOVE” from God.
Thanks Mike for making my day brighter!!!!!
Mike,
May God bless you my brother .

Keep posting stuff like this i really like it
What’s sad is that most Christians believe in prayer, but prayer for the storm to be removed. They don’t ask for the wisdom or the holy spirits guidance. They only want the storm to pass from them. Jesus did not only pray “let this cup pass from me.” In other words, remove the storm. He prayed, “If it is your will [Lord], (then) let this cup pass from me.” It’s an if/then. You only get the then when the if says so.
Thanks Mike. Miss you at Church buddy.
